(More customer reviews)I bought this motor to push a 17 foot canoe. I have not been able to get to the #5 speed for very long as it is to fast for the canoe for stability. I have never been able to run down a battery in a weekend. I use a 31 amp hour gel cell. It exceeds all my excpectaions.
