(More customer reviews)I have about 30 of these AA batteries in our home and they rotate around from place to place with only 2 extra on hand. Have switched to the rechargeable scenario over 3 years ago and stated with 8 then kept buying more as we got more electronics. 3 years later and ALL of these are working great.
A few key points to keep in mind. Not all chargers are equal or good and price does not mean it is any better. I use these genuine Energizer charger and it is not too high priced (often comes in pack with batteries as a set). Rechargeable batteries will drain quite fast compared to regular batteries when just sitting around, so don't charge them and put on shelf expecting fully charged batteries a month later, just recharge batteries when they go dead or charge extra set when batteries in toy,etc start showing they are low. Lastly, not all rechargeables are the same-check the "mAh" number. The higher the better and if a battery does not show this number then you can safely assume it is a low number. The mAh is how much power battery will hold and thus tells you how long it will last. A 2450 mAh will last much longer than a 1800 mAh.
