I like the option of being able to choose the high or low beam as a way to conserve power. I think the strobe function is a great addition and a life-saving tool in the event a firefighter becomes trapped or lost on a fire scene and has to call a Mayday (though I pray that this never happens to any of my fellow brothers and sisters!) [...]

In conclusion, I am very happy with my Streamlight Survivor LED Flashlight and with the service from Amazon.

This one puts out a a poor amount of light. It also does not retain its charge well.You will have to shake it frequently to keep it charged.

Razor Ground Force Electric Go-Kart Review

(More customer reviews)I had a Power Wheels toy for my girls when they were 2 and 4.Now that my son was turning 4, I didn't want him driving around in a pink Barbie Jeep.

I went and bought the Ground Force but it is significantly faster - the Power Wheels tops out at 5mph (but also allows you to lock the speed to a max of 2.5mph), whereas the Ground Force has a max speed of 12mph.

I must say though, that I (a 40 year old man who weighs 165 pounds) LOVE this thing...It was fast, nimble and my neighbors got used to seeing me drive around the neighborhood.But, ahem, where was I? Oh yes, back to the kids.

My 6 and 9 year old daughters love this car since it is significantly faster than their old Power Wheel car.I was even able to take my 6 year old out with it when I went roller blading and she was able to keep up with me and then some (we went out for about an hour (so figure we went about 8-10 miles since we weren't going the full hour.

That being said, it is way too fast for my 4 year old...and even my 6 year old who knows how to drive was doing a series of figure 8's in the street at max speed and loving it...when she lost control and ran full speed into the curb...she was NOT a happy camper, although she wasn't seriously hurt.

The car does sit low though...so if a child were to run under an SUV...there is a very real chance the child could be seriously hurt though because their face would smack into the bumper...so PLEASE be mindful.

I allowed our friend's daughter who was 5 to drive the car in an very open field and she loved it...but ended up losing control as well and running into a play structure. She hurt hurt herself and broke the seatbelt because she panicked and went full speed into the structure...she wasn't seriously hurt...but I have definitely re-thought my stance about letting ANY child under 8 or 9 drive the cart by themselves.

Because there is no way to lock out the max speed...the children should be very carefully supervised.I do drive my 4 year old in my lap (and even drove him to pre-school one day in the morning (which he loved btw).Of course, I did look a bit stupid driving home in this go kart in the morning near the school...but my son was VERY excited! ;)

Please please be careful with this car with young children.

I connected the clamps to his battery and the car started immediately. The battery status on this unit has 3 lights (red-yellow-green) and is very useful to know when to recharge it. It was on yellow status but it still could start several cars with ease. The air compressor and the flash light on the unit are also very useful. A very handy equipment for the price (when I bought it, it was $80)
I would recommend it.

Sevylor Rechargeable 12 Volt Battery Review

(More customer reviews)I have used several of these batteries for many years in the intended line of work. Powering Sevylor low thrust trolling motors, ie 5/10lb and 12lb thrust. This is a 7Ah battery that weights 6lbs. Most of the time (depending on the thrust setting) I can run for 1.5 - 3.5hrs per charge. With a spare battery in the boat it keeps me always safe and within a reach of the lake shore.
I do have a Minn Kota 30lb motor, and the user manual recommends a 105Ah battery that weights 70lbs. My guess is that a 40lb version needs a 140Ah battery that weights 100lbs. Please do not replace a 140Ah/100lbs battery with a 7Ah/6lbs one and expect it to last more then 10-15 minutes!!!

(More customer reviews)I got one a few years ago and now I need another for my second bike. These come with a good long cord and it is made from good rubber so you can step on it without damage. The connector you put on the bike is made from same tough stuff and it has ring lugs already. They really made this for Bikes or Lawn tractors.The connector is easy to undo and cover with the cover on a tether attached to cord on bike. Even if cover comes off, the positive is still completely covered so no fear of shorts unless you let the cord get into the chain or lay against an exhaust pipe. The charger will do a 6v battery as well. I mounted a power strip on wall and I tie wrap the Xciter cubes to the strip. These have 3 LEDs showing 1) it on, 2) its charging a low battery, and 3) battery is charged so it is float charging the battery- maintaining.By the way, using one of these will really stretch the life you get from a lead acid battery. The acid in a battery starts sulfating the lead plates when the plate doesn't have an electrical charge- so keeping a charge on them will make them live.

(More customer reviews)I bought this pump in conjunction with a Coleman Comfort Control Air Mattress and I'm very pleased with both.The pump filled the air mattress firmly in under a minute when plugged in, and the pump seems to hold a charge quite well.The nozzles included make the pump ideal when inflating a Coleman air mattress, as they're custom made for each other.The air pump takes the next step, though, in including additional nozzles that would (presumably) enable one to easily fill other inflatable items (short of a basketball or bike tire).The only minor annoyance to me was that the pump is quite noisy.If you're planning to use this at the campground, try to make sure you get your business done before other campers go to bed, especially if you're in close proximity.(Also, this product would have been pretty close to perfect if it had 9V car adapter capability.)Outside of that, this is a very efficient air pump - the price is more than worth the assurance that I won't have to spend an hour laid out on the tent floor getting chapped lips from blowing up the air mattress.

(More customer reviews)I have this flashlight and used it while on-duty as a police officer.Shortly after purchasing it from a local police uniform store, the switch became faulty and would only function properly intermittently.Sometimes it wont turn on and at times it wont turn off when clicking the switch.I turned it in for repair and when I got it back everything was fine for a while until the flashlight would turn on by itself when inverted.This was a huge officer safety issue when I have the flashlight holstered on my duty belt.It would turn on by itself when walking or sitting in the car thus exposing me in the dark.I've been using my other Streamlight UltraStringer and no problems with that except the battery life seems much shorter.I'm going to try the Streamlight Stinger (non LED) next and hope that's better than the ones I already have.

(More customer reviews)When I purchased my first digital camera 3 years ago, I never thought it could go through batteries as quickly as it did so I never thought about buying rechargables.Besides, my rechargable history had not been a good one.Very expensive batteries, charger only worked when it wanted to work.

I did quite a bit of research when I purchased my newest digital camera and batteries 6 months ago.The PowerEX batteries and chargers were reviewed quite highly and tested to be long lasting.The price was decent and much lower than I had paid 3 years ago for other rechargables.I figured that I didn't have too much to lose.

Well, six months later I am getting ready to buy more batteries for other items in the house.There were times that I loaded my fully charged batteries in my camera and took over 1000 flash pictures and still had a great charge on the batteries.They hold their charge for weeks and can be charged quickly if needed.

My son uses these in his game cube wireless controlers and gets days worth of playing time from them before needing a charge.

These are inexpensive, ship very quickly, and are a deal for twice the price.I can't imagine having to lug around regular batteries in my camera case ever again.And with PowerEX batteries, I won't have to.
